Getting Started
I’m new here – where should I start?
First, I want to welcome you to Scholarship Informer (SI)! I’m honored you’ve given us a chance to help you pay for college. Sometimes it’s hard to know where to start, so here are a few suggestions.
Check out the Start Here page. It’ll help you get the most out of SI and explain what each section of the site is about.
Next, make sure you introduce yourself in the Scholarship Talk Facebook Group. It’s our private community where you can meet other SI students or families and receive help/support while upholding your commitment to any scholarship goals you’re setting.
Finally, don’t forget to watch the Scholarships 101 Core Course. You will learn a few important scholarship strategies that have helped me earn over $200,000 in scholarships to pay for my BA, MBA, and now doctorate degree.
Lastly, don’t be overwhelmed by all of the information we have here; you’ll quickly become used to how everything is setup. Plus, you can always ask a question in blue chat box found in the bottom-right corner of every page.

Where do I go if I need help or have a question? (Non-Member)
The first place to go if you need help or have questions is our Ultimate Scholarship FAQ and SAQ Resource (which is where you are right now). If you still need help, you can also post your question in the Scholarship Talk Facebook Group.
Throughout the site, you’ll see areas where you can ask questions specific to information.

Where can I find the videos that show me what I need to know about scholarships?
Our scholarship videos are in different sections within the main Scholarship EDGE Dashboard. We recommend starting with our Core Courses videos to gain a better understanding of what you should be doing right now.
I’m completely new to scholarships, where should I start?
To start off on the right track, begin with the Scholarships 101 Core Course. It will lay the foundation you need to help your family build a semester-after-semester scholarship system.
