Our Core Scholarship Philosophy

THE SI DEFINITION OF SCHOLARSHIPS

As Defined by Most Education Professionals, Google, and more!

The Traditional DefinItion

“A grant or payment made to support a student’s education, awarded on the basis of academics or other achievements.”

The Scholarship Informer Definition

THE DEFINITION THAT WINS MONEY

“Anything of value towards a student’s education, particularly monetary compensation or current/future opportunities.”

In other words, everything about a student positively influences their scholarship chances.

COMPREHENSIVE scholarship TOOLS, TRAINING, AND SUPPORT

Our Scholarship List and Scholarship Search Tool (No Login or Sign Up Required)

My team spends countless hours vetting the scholarships we list in our database. It’s important to us to provide users with enough application information, upfront, to save them as much time as possible.

In addition, our scholarship descriptions list information regarding provided essay length/requirements, GPA, and important supplemental material details. These details allow students to easily sort scholarships based on classification, major, award amount, due date, or keywords.

We also add scholarships often that are focused on what families’ request, so let us know if your students are looking for specific applications. We’ll do our best to add them in a timely manner.

A Helpful Scholarship Planning Tool: The Scholarship Calculator

Are you students struggling to make the connection between how their level of effort impacts the amount of scholarships they can win?

The Scholarship Calculator gives families real-time estimates of their scholarship chances based on the amount of time they’re spending on scholarships each month, application types, areas of improvement, and more!

An email is required to be able to send users a copy of their results for their records. Feel free to test it out and share with your families.

Schedule a Collaboration Call for Us to Support Your Student Demographic

If you haven’t already, schedule a short Collaboration Call* with me. Let’s figure out how we can work towards getting your students more scholarships to pay for college. We welcome all members of your department or division to join. This is also ideal if you’d like a private tour of the website to understand how Scholarship Informer helps families from across the country.

*If none of the Collaboration Call times and dates work for your schedule, please send us an email at Support@ScholarshipInformer.com. We’ll be more than happy to see if any additional dates could work for you and your colleagues.

What’s Working Now? Online Monthly Scholarship Training for Professionals

I’ve heard too many education professionals say that there’s “no graduate course in scholarships”. I’d like to be able to help you as much as possible. Therefore, we’ll be hosting Education Professionals Only Webinars throughout the school year to help you stay up-to-date. Click here to see our next upcoming webinar.

Important: We’ll be hosting several webinars covering COVID-19 and scholarships that will include parents and students. We believe it’s important that you attend to get on the same “scholarship page.”

To ensure our content is relevant to your population, feel free to send us an email at Support@ScholarshipInformer.com regarding topics you’d like me to cover.

RESOURCE: Frequently Asked Questions and Should Ask Questions for Scholarships

Are you looking for a comprehensive one-stop-shop for every and any scholarship question? We’re currently building an Education Professionals Only Resource that does just that based on various universities, states, majors, minors, demographic information, and more. You’ll want to stay tuned for this tremendous resource!
